PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

5.30am Station Road and Station Approach will CLOSE TO TRAFFIC
9.30 to 15.30 French and English Stalls open for business.
Kings Church (the State Hall) and Union Church open their doors to host entertainment and provide refreshment and toilet facilities.
FREE PARK & RIDE to the event from the Market Car Park.
Fire Station open day.

Free Entertainment

On the stage:

09.30 – 11.00 21 Whiskeys; the popular local band that brings you Folk, Roots and Americana in their own entertaining manner.
11.45 – 13.15 Howlin’ Grooves; a 5-piece group playing mostly 1960s & ’70s Pop, Soul, Motown, R&B etc.
14.00 – 15.30

Fat Belly Jones; the 8-piece Ska & Soul band that will have you dancing in the street.

Unfortunately we have been unable to bring you the brass bands this year due to insufficient space on the stage to safely distance the players.

Union Church, open throughout for refreshments.
Entertainment as below:

10.00 – 11.00 Tilsmore; Heathfield based guitar/vocal duo Beverley & John.
11.15 – 12.30 The Sussex Stompers Jazz Band; ever popular Le Marché 6-piece.
12.45 – 14.00 Saxonymous; new to Le Marché, this saxophone quartet plays music you will know & love.

State Hall (Kings Church), open throughout for refreshments but entertainment 10.30 – 14.00.
Main venue for children’s entertainment:

10.30 – 11.00 Marco the Magician entertains the children.
11.30 – 12.00 Andy Bosco entertains the children.
12.30 – 13.00 Marco the Magician entertains the children.
13.30 – 14.00 Andy Bosco entertains the children.

When not in the State Hall, which is the main fixed venue for children’s entertainment, Andy Bosco and Marco the Magician tour the closed streets entertaining. Marco and Andy Bosco are professional children’s entertainers.

There may be changes to the entertainment programme due to circumstances beyond our control…..But it’s free!

15.30: LE MARCHÉ CLOSES.
Stalls will close for business and pack up.

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE CLEARED FROM PARK & RIDE CAR PARK BY 4PM AS THE GATES WILL BE LOCKED

17.00 STATION ROAD & STATION APPROACH WILL RE-OPEN TO TRAFFIC

Toilet facilities are available at the State Hall (Kings Church), Union Church and Mill Road car park (near fire station).
